ATTENTION: 2ND BATTALION – ALPHA & BRAVO COMPANY

WHAT: Pulot-Basura Activity
WHEN: 25 September 2026 | 0600H
WHERE: ROTC DMST Headquarters
WHO: All Platoons from Alpha & Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion
WHY: In preparation for Pasiklaban and as part of our effort to help maintain cleanliness.

All designated cadets are required to report to Headquarters for attendance before proceeding to the activity. Each cadet must bring one (1) sack for the Pulot-Basura activity.

Note: Strictly NO LATE COMERS. Attendance will start at 0600H. All designated cadets are instructed to report early and on time. Late arrivals will not be entertained.

Additional announcement: NSTP BOOK SUBMISSION

Assigned cadets for tomorrow's Pulot-Basura Activity may also submit their NSTP Book for checking. Make sure that your name is clearly written on the book for easy identification and return.

NSTP COMMON MODULE

On 180800H September 2026, a National Security Lecture was conducted at the USM Auditorium, attended by NSTP students of the University of Southern Mindanao.

The lecture was delivered by 1LT ANGELIE V CALATARO (CMO) PA, Commanding Officer, 2nd CMO Company, 6th CMO Battalion, Philippine Army, who is currently providing Civil-Military Operations (CMO) support to the 602nd Infantry Brigade, 6th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, based in Carmen, Cotabato. Also present during the activity were personnel supporting the 602nd Infantry Brigade, 6ID, PA.

The lecture focused on National Security, with emphasis on the West Philippine Sea. The discussion provided the NSTP students with a better understanding of the significance of the West Philippine Sea to the country's national security, territorial integrity, sovereignty, and national interests. It also highlighted the importance of awareness and responsible citizenship in understanding issues affecting the country's maritime domain and security.

The activity further emphasized the role of the Filipino people, particularly the youth, in promoting national unity, peace, security, and the protection of the country's national interests. The lecture served as an avenue for the students to gain relevant knowledge on current national security concerns and the importance of being informed and responsible citizens.

Present during the activity were PROF BONIFACIO C SOLSOLOY, NSTP Director; PROF JESON P DONQUE, CWTS Coordinator; DR JOEL V MISANES, ROTC Coordinator; COL RODRIGO D LIMOS MNSA (RES) PA, ROTC Commandant; LTC CAYETANO C POMARES (RES) PA, Assistant Commandant; SGT HENZTEIN C PEREZ, Tactical NCO; SGT EDEN M ENORA, Tactical NCO; Graduate Military Assistants; CWTS Advisers; and personnel from the 602nd Infantry Brigade, 6th Infantry Division, Philippine Army.

The activity concluded at approximately 1030H on the same day.

REGULAR REVEILLE

On 150430H September 2026, the 2CL and Aspiring Cadet Officers conducted the Regular Reveille under the guidance and supervision of the 1CL Officers.

The activity consisted of Army Dozen Exercises, followed by a jogging exercise within the USM Campus, aimed at enhancing the cadet officers’ physical fitness, endurance, discipline, and camaraderie.

The activity concluded at approximately 0530H on the same day, marking another productive morning of training and preparation for leadership and service.
