As we bask in the blessings of the holy month of Ramadhan, let us spread love, kindness, and generosity to those around us. On February 27 and March 5, 2026, the College of Agriculture and Fisheries- Local Student Council (CaFi-LSC) and with the presence and support of our College of Agriculture and Fisheries Dean, Doctor Analiza S. Macacua, together with CAFi faculties Doctor Perla P. Pasaol, Ma'am Rhanest S. Tilendo, Ma'am Ayranisah M. Angas, and Sir Mauro E. Ogatis Jr., had the honor of sharing free Iftar student, with drivers and passengers on the street, and embodying the spirit of 'Noor 'Ala Noor: Embracing the Blessings of Ramadhan'.

As the Prophet (S.A.W.) said, 'The best of people are those who bring most benefit to people' . It was indeed a heartwarming experience to witness the smiles on their faces as they enjoyed their Iftar meals, and we are grateful for the chance to share kindness and compassion with those on-the-go.

May this Ramadhan be a month of generosity, forgiveness, and blessings for all. As Allah (S.W.T) says in the Quran, 'The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain of corn which grows seven ears, and in every ear a hundred grains' (2:261). Let us continue to strive to be a source of goodness and kindness to all, and may our efforts be accepted by the Almighty.

In his biggest race yet, Abdulhamid Naron proved that he truly belongs on the stage where stars shine the brightest, finishing 5th place in the 21KM Male Local category at the Ayala Philippine Marathon 2026 in Makati City.

The pride of Cotabato City clocked an impressive unofficial time of 1 hour and 16 minutes in the 21KM race.

Yesterday, February 9, 2026, our brothers and sisters in Islam gathered for 𝗞𝗔𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗪𝗔 2026:
“احتضان شهر رمضان المبارك المليء بالإيمان”
(Embracing the Faith-Filled Month of Ramadhan) — a Pre-Ramadhan Symposium held at the CotSU LIGHTS Gymnasium.

It was a meaningful afternoon of reflection and preparation as we listened to our esteemed speakers, 𝐔𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐳𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐚 𝐀. 𝐈𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐦, who discussed "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘩𝘢𝘯," and 𝐔𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐳 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐝, who talked about "𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘙𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘩𝘢𝘯.", both shared valuable insights on welcoming Ramadhan with faith, purpose, and unity.

As CAFILINISAN 2025–2026 comes to an end, we reflect on a shared effort guided by the theme “Paint, Fix, and Clean.” What started as a simple initiative became a meaningful activity that brought everyone together with a common goal—to improve and care for our shared spaces.

From the first task to the final clean-up, every contribution showed dedication, teamwork, and responsibility. Each act of painting, repairing, and cleaning played an important role in making the event successful.

As this initiative concludes, CAFILINISAN leaves behind more than cleaner and better spaces. It serves as a reminder that caring for our environment and working together should continue even beyond this activity.

​💚💙 As the sun rises on service, unity, and bayanihan, the College of Agriculture and Fisheries proudly opens CAFILINISAN (Brigada) through the initiative of CAFi - LOCAL STUDENT COUNCIL as the first activity of the second semester, bringing together passionate hearts and helping hands. 🌱✨

This opening program marks the planting of responsibility and care, where teamwork takes root, dedication blooms, and collective action paints our campus with hope and harmony. Together, we cultivate a cleaner, greener, and brighter CAFi because when we move as one, every effort blossoms into lasting impact.

​Our mission continues as we paint, fix, and clean our shared spaces, alongside the exciting commencement of our Mural Competition and Landscaping Competition! Keep your eyes on the transformation and look forward to the grand finale—the announcement of winners and our Closing Program will take place this coming January 23, 2026. Something beautiful is growing, and we can’t wait for you to see the results! ✨🏆

📣 ENROLLMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Enrollment will be conducted according to the following schedule:

📅 January 5 – 4th Year
📅 January 6–7 – 3rd Year
📅 January 8–9 – 2nd Year and 1st Year
📍 Venue: CAFI DEPARTMENT

Students are advised to follow their assigned schedule and ensure that all enrollment requirements are complete. Incomplete documents will not be processed.
