𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐔𝐒𝐂 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥 '26

The 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐔𝐒𝐂) successfully held its annual 𝗚𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹 on May 15, 2026, at the Datu Blah Sinsuat AVR, Cotabato State University. The event aimed to recognize and honor the hard work, dedication, and service rendered by student leaders to the student body throughout the academic year.

During the program, 𝐔𝐒𝐂 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐫 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚 delivered his 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐒𝐎𝐒𝐀), where he reflected on the council’s journey, challenges, sacrifices, and accomplishments during their term.

The council also expressed its gratitude to the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐢 “𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐞” 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐨 for the support extended to the success of the event.

This recognition does not symbolize the end of the 2025–2026 administration, but rather serves as a reflection of the commitment, leadership, and service of the student leaders who dedicated themselves to the welfare of the students.

𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, with the theme “ 𝐒𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲”, successfully brought everyone together to protect nature and build peace in our community. Held at 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐧, 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞, this meaningful activity was fully supported by the 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗕𝗬𝗖).

One of the best parts of the program was the talk about Bangsamoro History, given by our guest speaker𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐚 𝐌. 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚 from the 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗕𝗬𝗖). His talk gave us a better understanding of our history, identity, and shared roots — reminding us that real peace and progress start by knowing where we come from.

This activity was successfully carried out under the leadership of the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐔𝐒𝐂), led by 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢 𝐒𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚 — 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐥𝐚 𝐔. We also give our biggest thanks to Barangay Kagawad Datu Harris D. Solidad and the whole community of Barangay Rebuken. Thank you so much for warmly welcoming us, for your kindness, and for letting us use your place for this event. Your help means a lot to us.

More than just planting trees and seeds, this project planted good values like care, responsibility, and unity among the youth and the people here. It showed that when we work together, we can make our place greener, safer, and more peaceful for everyone — now and in the future.

The 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐔𝐒𝐂) participated in Bangsamoro Transition Authority’s Bangsamoro Youth Leaders Orientation on the Bangsamoro Parliament last 19 Dhul Qa’dah 1447, May 7, 2026.

The said orientation was participated by different college institutions coming form Cotabato City and it involved discussions of history of bangsamoro region, formulation of the BARMM, the transition from ARMM to BARMM, understanding of the Parliament’s mandate and practices by Hon. Mohammad S. Yacob, PhD. The participants was also given the opportunity to be toured around the halls of Member of Parliament offices, and the session hall of the Bangsamoro Government Center.

, unites the community in environmental protection and peacebuilding, funded by the Bangsamoro Youth Commission. The program features a discussion on Bangsamoro History by a speaker from Integrated Democracy and Development for Meaningful Progress, Inc.

As we gear up for the University Student Council (USC) and Local Student Council (LSC) Election, these are the individuals entrusted with ensuring that every part of the election process is fair, organized, and transparent. From the filing of candidacy up to the proclamation of winners, they will oversee and guide the entire election process to uphold integrity and credibility among the student body.

On May 08, 2026, the University Student Council conducted a courtesy visit to Ribuken, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte, in preparation for the upcoming Kalilintad Green Project: Sowing Peace, Growing Sustainability—a seed-planting initiative dedicated to promoting environmental conservation, sustainability, and community awareness.

Together, we plant not only seeds for a greener tomorrow but also the roots of peace and unity within our communities.

The University Student Council (USC) garnered a total of eight awards at the 2026 Student Organizations Awards organized by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), held at the CSU Conference Room. Demonstrating excellence in leadership, service, and organizational performance, the USC was recognized with the following honors: Most Outstanding Student Organization Award, Most Compliant Student Organization Award, Best Organization Project Award, Community Service Excellence Award, and Best Collaboration with Other Organizations Award.

In addition to the council’s achievements, USC President Jammil Hashr M. Luminda was individually recognized for his exemplary leadership and dedication. He received both the Chief Executive of the Year Award and the Officer of the Year Award, highlighting his significant contributions to the organization and the student body.

The 2026 Student Organizations Awards was attended by various student organizations, celebrating their efforts, initiatives, and commitment to fostering leadership, service, and community engagement within the university.
