Project JOURNEY 5.0, the flagship project of SDO-Isabela in the promotion of campus journalism, ensures that journalism activities across governance levels are integrative, inclusive, balanced, targeted, and functional. These features are embedded in its five key components: Journ-Class, Journ Journ Clinic, Journ-Serye, Journ-Academy, and Journ-Expo.

Melisa Paz R. Ibay was The Beacon’s Feature Writer for School Year 2025-2026. She was also a member of the Collaborative Desktop Publishing that represented Region 02 in the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) held in Ormoc City, bagging the overall third place.
