The Weavers Advances to the RSPC

This year, The Weavers, Mangansag Elementary School's official publication, was recognized as the 1st Overall Best School Paper in the Division of Romblon, qualifying for the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) last November 27-28, 2025, at Odiongan National High School.

The publication excelled in various categories, achieving 1st Place in News Section, Editorial Section, Feature Section, Science and Technology Section, Sports Section, and Page Layout and Design Section.

As it heads to the RSPC, the school and The Weavers' family hope that the school publication will continue to succeed. May this journey bring even more victories for the school paper.

Mangansag teachers and SELG officers hold seminars on RA 9262 and RA 7610 to strengthen awareness of women's and children's right

MANGANSAG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, FEBRUARY 10, 2025: A seminar on Republic Act 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act) and Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act) was conducted at Mangansag Elementary School on February 10-11, 2025 to education the learners and teachers on legal measures protecting women and children from abuse.

The school organized the event in accordance with DepEd guidelines on Gender and Development (GAD) advocacy. PCMS Irene F. Faner, a representative of the Philippine National Police, served as the first speaker and provided insights into these laws. She emphasized the importance and awareness of reporting child abuse cases and the government's available support services for the victims.
