To inform parents, guardians, and barangay officials about the recent changes, updates, concerns, and other important matters at the beginning of the newly implemented three-term school year, Mabini National High School conducted its General Assembly at the MNHS Multipurpose Building, June 12.
The program started with an opening prayer led by Sir Jimhel Fampo and was shortly followed by the singing of the national anthem conducted by Maโam Kahren Miรฑon. Moreover, Mr. Julius Fajarillo, PTA President, delivered his welcome remarks while Maโam Vevien Motin gave food for thought.
Sir Lordiel Faderagao, Head Teacher III, continued the orientation proper with his school address, sharing first with the attendees the school report on classrooms and facilities. He then discussed the results of the BoSY assessment on studentsโ health, literacy, and numeracy conducted during this week's Opening Block.
Afterward, he explained the changes for the current school year, focusing on the three-term school calendar, education in emergencies, and the revised guidelines on classroom assessment and grading system.
Finally, he detailed the school policies designed to ensure the safety, promote the well-being, and support the academic success of MNHS students throughout the school year.
After the discussions, the parents and guardians proceeded to their respective classrooms to elect homeroom officers and grade-level representatives.
