On July 23, 2026, the 4th Year Criminology Students and Parents Consultation was successfully conducted, bringing together graduating Criminology students and their parents for the On-the-Job Training (OJT) Orientation. The activity served as a significant milestone in preparing future criminology professionals as they transition from academic learning to practical field experience.

The program commenced with an inspiring welcome message from 𝐷𝑟. 𝐴𝑔𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑎 𝐺. 𝑃𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑔, 𝐴𝑠𝑠𝑜𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝐷𝑒𝑎𝑛, followed by the introduction of the BS Criminology faculty members by 𝑀𝑠. 𝐴𝑖𝑧𝑎 𝑃. 𝑅𝑜𝑠𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑠, 𝐵𝑆 𝐶𝑟𝑖𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑦 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑚 𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑖𝑟. 𝐵𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑐𝑘 𝑀. 𝑅𝑜𝑠𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑠, 𝑂𝐽𝑇 𝐶𝑜𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑜𝑟, then presented a comprehensive orientation on the internship program, highlighting the OJT guidelines, requirements, expectations, and safety protocols. To further strengthen the students' understanding of internship policies, 𝐷𝑟. 𝑀𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑦𝑛𝑒 𝑇. 𝑀𝑎𝑠𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑔, 𝑆𝐴𝑆 𝐷𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑜𝑟, discussed the salient provisions of CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 63, Series of 2017, emphasizing the standards governing student internships.

More than an orientation, the consultation provided an avenue for parents to actively participate by raising questions, sharing concerns, and gaining a deeper understanding of their vital role in supporting their children's professional journey. The event underscored the importance of the strong partnership between the institution and families in nurturing competent, ethical, and service-oriented future criminologists.
