Calafug Elementary School Joins DepEd's Nationwide Tree-Planting Activity
A Glimpse into the Greening Initiative

In line with the Department of Education's (DepEd) Order No. 2023-01-11025, titled "DepEd's 236,000 Trees – A Christmas Gift for the Children," Calafug Elementary School actively participated in the nationwide tree-planting activity held on December 6, 2023.

With unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship, teachers, students and stakeholders from Calafug Elementary School gathered together to transform their school grounds into a vibrant haven for greenery. The excitement was palpable as the participants carefully planted saplings of various tree species, each sapling representing a step towards a more sustainable future.

Calafug Elementary School's participation in DepEd's nationwide tree-planting activity is a testament to the school's dedication to environmental education and sustainability. Through such initiatives, the school is fostering a generation of eco-conscious individuals who will continue to champion environmental causes.

Inviting everyone to join and be part of Brigada Eskwela 2023 in preparation for the upcoming opening of classes on August 29, 2023.

Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide schools maintenance program that engages all education stakeholders to contribute their time, efforts, and resources in ensuring that public schools are all set in time for class opening. This year, the theme of Brigada Eskwela is "Bayanihan para sa matatag na paaralan, Tara na, Magbrigada na tayo"

As we all know, the past two years have been challenging for our schools. The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the traditional way of learning, and many schools have been forced to close their doors. This has made it even more important for us to come together and support our schools in any way that we can.

Brigada Eskwela is a great opportunity for us to do just that. By volunteering your time or donating materials, you can help to ensure that our schools are clean, safe, and ready for our students to return to learning.

There are many ways that you can get involved in Brigada Eskwela. You can volunteer to help with cleaning, painting, or repairs. You can donate school supplies, furniture, or equipment. You can even just spread the word about Brigada Eskwela and encourage others to get involved.

Every little bit helps. So please, join us in making a difference for our schools and our students. Together, we can make sure that every child has access to a quality education.

Congratulations to all the learners, teaching staff, and the school community.

I am so proud of all of you for making the closing exercises a success. I know that I was not able to be there in person, but I was with you in spirit. Your hard work, dedication, and resilience were truly inspiring.

I am especially grateful to the teaching staff for their tireless efforts in preparing the learners for the closing exercises. Your commitment to providing a quality education is evident in the learners' accomplishments.

I would also like to thank the community for their support of the school. Your contributions have made it possible for us to provide a top-notch education to our learners.

"Spreading Joy and Appreciation! 🎉🎁📚👫✨
'Sa Calafug ES, Ikaw ay Blessed' initiative led by the School Principal Chandler B. Ibabao and dedicated teachers concluded the school year with a heartwarming gesture.
The 120 learners of Calafug Elementary School were treated to free Jollibee Kiddie Meals, toys, and pre-loved clothes as a token of gratitude for their hard work.
This special event, held during the Reading Festival cm Year-end Culminating activity, brought smiles and blessings to all.

School administrators from Conner, Apayao attended the Panagbunga Festival on October 24, 2022 at the Conner Municipal Gymnasium. The celebration started with a mass and street dance competition, followed by a special number from the senior citizens. School Planning Team Heads General Parent-Teachers Association Meeting to Get Pulse of Community

Location: Calafug ES Gymnasium
The school planning team, headed by the school principal, conducted a general parent-teachers association meeting on October 21, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the school auditorium. The meeting was held in lieu of class suspension and was attended by parents, guardians, and teachers.

The purpose of the meeting was to get the pulse of the community in relation to crafting of the school improvement plan. The school planning team presented the school's progress in implementing the previous school improvement plan and solicited feedback from parents and guardians on how to improve the school.

Parents and guardians shared their thoughts and ideas on how to improve the school's curriculum, facilities, and extracurricular activities. The school planning team took note of these suggestions and will use them in crafting the school's new improvement plan.

The meeting was a productive opportunity for the school planning team to get feedback from the community and to build a stronger partnership between the school and parents.
