Ngayong ika-21 ng Agosto, ating ginugunita ang Ninoy Aquino Day bilang pag-alala sa sakripisyo at paninindigan ni dating Senador Benigno โ€œNinoyโ€ S. Aquino Jr., na naging mahalagang bahagi ng kasaysayan ng ating bansa.

Sa bisa ng Republic Act No. 9256, na nilagdaan noong Pebrero 25, 2004, itinakda ang ika-21 ng Agosto bilang Ninoy Aquino Day at isang pambansang araw na walang pasok, bilang pagkilala at paggunita sa kaniyang ambag sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.

2. Must not currently have an existing scholarship.

Note: This subsidy covers only one semester. Students may apply every year, subject to the availability of funds.
