𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀! 🤝

Parang Elementary School successfully conducted the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) and Deworming Orientation in partnership with our Barangay Health Workers (BHW), bringing together parents, stakeholders, and school personnel in support of one shared goal, a healthier and stronger future for every learner.

In line with the observance of National Deworming Month, eligible learners also received deworming medicine under the supervision of health personnel. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our BHWs, parents, stakeholders, and all partners for making this initiative a success. Together, we nurture healthy learners, build brighter futures.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲, 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞

Parang Elementary School warmly welcomed personnel from the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st PMFC), Tarlac Provincial Police Office (TPPO), under the supervision of PLTCOL Julius Caesar D. Noveno, Force Commander, as part of their continuing police visibility and community engagement program.

The visit was conducted in coordination with the Parang ES Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (DRRMC) to further strengthen school safety initiatives and reinforce a secure learning environment for all learners, teachers, and personnel.

Parang Elementary School, together with the PES DRRMC, extends its sincere appreciation to the 1st PMFC–TPPO for their unwavering dedication to public service and for fostering a strong partnership in ensuring the safety and well-being of our school community.

The construction of the left wing extension of the Parang Elementary School Covered Court has officially begun under the leadership of our School Head, Sir Rogelio M. Villanueva. This project marks another step toward providing a safer, more functional, and learner-friendly environment for our school community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Concepcion, led by 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐍𝐨𝐞𝐥 𝐋. 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐯𝐚, for the additional construction materials provided through the Local School Board (LSB) Funds. Your unwavering support and commitment to education continue to make meaningful improvements in our school possible.

𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝘁, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁: 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗗

Parang Elementary School actively participated in the 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 (𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗗) to promote earthquake preparedness and safety awareness among learners and school personnel.

During the drill, participants properly performed the 𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗣, 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 procedure, which is the recommended safety response during an earthquake. This practice helps protect individuals from falling objects and potential injuries while shaking is occurring. The activity allowed everyone to become familiar with the correct actions to take during an actual earthquake.

The successful conduct of the earthquake drill strengthened the school’s culture of safety and preparedness. Through regular participation in activities such as the 𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗗, Parang Elementary School continues to equip its learners and personnel with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively during emergencies and disasters.

EMERGENCIES WON'T STOP EDUCATION—BUT SAFETY ALWAYS COMES FIRST!

The Department of Education (DepEd) rolls out its new levels-based response system under DO 14, s. 2026 to manage learning during unexpected crises. Say hello to the 4H Framework:

🟢 Hayo (Continue): Regular or blended learning when it's safe.
🟡 Hinay (Ease-in): Adjusting the workload during transitions.
🔵 Hinga (Check-in): Prioritizing mental health and well-being.
🔴 Hinto (Stop): Total suspension during severe threats.

This new policy balances the safety and mental well-being of our students and teachers with the prevention of learning loss during typhoons, extreme heat, and other emergencies.

Parang Elementary School successfully conducted its Parents’ Orientation, bringing together parents, guardians, teachers, and school leaders in a meaningful gathering aimed at fostering collaboration and shared responsibility in the education of our learners.

The program commenced with a warm welcome message from our school head, Sir Rogelio M. Villanueva, who emphasized the importance of a strong partnership between the school and families in creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment.

Various teachers presented and discussed important information regarding school policies, academic programs, learner support initiatives, and disaster resiliency and management measures, ensuring that parents and guardians are well-informed and actively engaged in the school’s goals, priorities, and safety protocols.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all parents and guardians who attended and participated in the assembly. Together, we can build a safer, more inclusive, and empowering educational community for every child.
