We humbly dedicate the plaque, certificates, and cash prize we received from the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) to the entire school community of Lagab Elementary School, the whole Barangay of Lagab, and all the partners who walked with us throughout 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗕𝗨𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗧. This recognition belongs to everyone who believed in the power of education, collaboration, and preparedness.

Habang papalapit ang Bagyong Uwan sa Pilipinas, mahalagang maging alerto at may alam. Isa sa mga pangunahing panganib na dulot ng tuloy-tuloy na malakas na ulan ay ang landslide — ang biglaang pagguho ng lupa, bato, o debris pababa sa isang dalisdis.

🔸𝐌𝐠𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐡𝐢 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐞:
• matatarik na dalisdis o slope
• mahina at makapal na lupa
• kakulangan ng mga puno at halaman
• pagkabitak o pagkabasag ng bato
• paghina ng dating matitigas na bato dahil sa weathering

⛰️ 𝐌𝐠𝐚 𝐔𝐫𝐢 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐞:
• creep o paggapang ng lupa
• rockfall o pagkahulog ng bato

𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐰𝐚𝐧 lalo na sa mga kababayan natin na nasa Luzon at Visayas. Ang kaalaman sa tamang gagawin bago, habang, at pagkatapos ng kalamidad ay maaaring magligtas ng buhay.

𝘗𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘯: 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘭 𝘋𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 (𝘖𝘊𝘋) 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴

During the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 (𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐃), the learners of Lagab Elementary School proudly used the 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙨 received through 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝘽𝙐𝙆𝙇𝘼𝙏, showing their readiness and commitment to safety.

More good news is on the way as the school will receive a $𝟒𝟎𝟎 prize for winning 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 in the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐎-𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐒𝐃 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝, which will be used to purchase additional hard hats for our learners. 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Heavy rain and blocked drainage can lead to flooding in many communities. This page from the 𝗕𝗨𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗧 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘁 teaches us how to prepare early, such as keeping emergency kits ready, monitoring advisories, and storing clean water. It also provides safety reminders on how to protect our families and recover safely once the flood subsides.
