[𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊] The Academic Services Division of Davao de Oro State College successfully held the 1st Quarter Monitoring of Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) targets for January to June 2026 on April 10, 2026 via Google Meet.

The event facilitated by the Director for Academic Services Division, Dr. Pedro P. Raymunde Jr., included sessions for the Academic Programs, Registrar Services Unit, Library Services Unit, Laboratory Unit, National Services Training Program, and Academic Services Unit Heads, each presenting their progress reports to ensure the college’s academic objectives remain on track for the first quarter of 2026.

The monitoring is part of the institution's ongoing commitment to excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement in all academic and administrative functions.

Further, this activity reinforces Davao de Oro State College’s vision of providing quality academic services that align with the core values of excellence, integrity, and solidarity.

𝟭𝟭𝗥𝗖𝗗𝗚 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗙𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Camp San Gabriel, Mintal, Tugbok District, Davao City – In support of the month-long celebration of ROTC, the 11th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army under the leadership of Colonel Calixto D Cadano Jr ART (GSC) PA, the Group Commander conducted the ROTC Fancy Drill Competitions in March 2026 among its administered ROTC units across the Davao Region.

The activity served as the major contribution for the celebration of the ROTC Month and the 129th Philippine Army Foundation Anniversary on 22 March 2026. It aimed to strengthen discipline among cadets by instilling precision and responsiveness to commands, while promoting teamwork, leadership, and attentiveness through synchronized and orderly drill movements.

The results highlighted the excellent performance of ROTC units, with USEP Obrero Main Campus emerging as Overall Champion (98.17%), followed by DORSU San Isidro College as 1st Runner-Up (97.20%) and City College of Davao as 2nd Runner-Up (95.17%). Davao de Oro State College and Davao Sur State College both placed as 3rd Runner-Up (95%). Other participating units included Dav Sur Main Campus (94.90%), SPAMAST and UM Tagum (94.83%), USEP Tagum (94.5%), Kolehiyo ng Pantukan (94%), St. Mary College (92%), Holy Cross College of Calinan (91.17%), Samal Island City College (90.92%), and Cor Jesu College (90.33%). Despite minimal deductions due to time deficiencies, all units displayed commendable discipline, coordination, and precision throughout the competition.

On the other hand, Col Cadano Jr commended all participating ROTC units for their discipline and performance. He emphasized that such activities help develop responsible and capable ROTC cadets, while strengthening their patriotism and commitment to national service. (OS7, 11RCDG, RCPA)
