Suspension of face-to-face classes has officially been lifted.

However, in consideration of the extreme heat conditions and to ensure the health and safety of learners and school personnel, face-to-face classes will be conducted on a half-day schedule from 𝟲:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟭:𝟭𝟱 𝗔𝗠 as mandated by the Local Government Unit(LGU) of Compostela.

All learners are encouraged to stay hydrated, take necessary precautions against heat exposure, and remain attentive to further announcements from local authorities .

Ang face-to-face classes sa adlaw o buntag gisuspenso ug ang mga eskwelahan magpatuman sa angay nga Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM), sama sa modular, online, asynchronous, blended learning, o uban pang learning modalities, subay sa polisiya sa ilang national education agency.

Mahimong ipatuman ang 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸-𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺-𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 (𝗪𝗙𝗛) o mahimong ipareport sila sa school aron mohimo sa ilang mga assigned tasks, subay sa applicable policies sa ilang national education agency.

Please be guided on the upcoming daily heat trends and guidelines set by DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2024 and PAGASA/MDRRMO Heat Advisories. High heat levels are expected over the next few days, with heat indices reaching up to 41°C (Extreme Caution level).

𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔
Hydrate: Drink water regularly throughout the day.
Sun Protection: Use umbrellas, hats, or sunblock when outdoors.
Limit Sun Exposure: Avoid outdoor games and activities between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Attire: Wear light, breathable clothing.
Alertness: Report any dizziness, nausea, or discomfort to teachers or school personnel immediately.

Reschedule physical activities (PE) and outdoor flag ceremonies to cooler hours.
Allow frequent water breaks during classes.
Ensure classrooms maximize natural cross-ventilation.
Monitor students closely for signs of heat exhaustion.
Non-Teaching Personnel: Schedule heavy maintenance/gardening work during early mornings or late afternoons and take regular shade breaks.
