Connective was started in March 2005 by Mrs.

Mirzah Betia-Torres together with three other ESL consultants namely Marianne Concepcion, Cleotilde San Miguel, and Roberto Tagalog who formerly worked in the Philippine Refugee Processing Center, Morong, Bataan where they were trained by experts from U.S., Canada and Australia. This core group’s passion to provide quality education paved the way to the establishment of Connective. Our Vision
Connective was established with a vision to help improve the quality of English as Second Language (ESL) learning and teaching in the Philippines and in other parts of the world. Connective also wants to be recognized as the best language center that provides communicative language teaching approach where students acquire the English language in a short period of time. For the TESOL Refresher Course 2026

TESOL Refresher CourseDescription of the Program:

Since Connective has been in operation for 21 years, it has graduates who have taken TESOL program for sometime who need to be updated and experience the lecture once again in a different platform. Lecture of all the six modules have been prerecorded. Students are given access to the videos and manuals.

Students will not be required to comply with the same requirements as a new student since he/ she already has done them before. To benefit from the program better, the trainee will be asked to only answer some few questions that would help reinforce important concepts. Also, will be given a copy of a teaching demo video on how to effectively teach ESL/ EFL. In addition, Connective’s ESL Starter Kit a great supplemental materials for teachers will be provided for FREE!
Upon compliance to the requirement, the student will get a certificate for a 120 -hour TESOL certificate. The program is a six- month course or less depending on the student’s pace.

For P5000 this program is truly worth a try.

1. What was the best experience you had in learning my TESOL program?

For me, the best experience was having a teacher who is very supportive, kind, and approachable. Teacher B**g was always there whenever I had questions or needed clarification. I really appreciate how quickly she responds to my emails. Whenever I’m confused about something, I know that she is just one email away, which made the whole learning experience much easier and less stressful for me.

I also realized that lessons become easier to learn when you have a good teacher. Even when some topics were new or challenging for me, Teacher B**g explained them clearly and made them easier to understand. Her guidance and feedback really helped me throughout the program.

2. What's the difference between learning from me compared to other experiences you had before?

What makes learning from Teacher B**g different is the way she genuinely supports and guides her students. In my previous learning experiences, sometimes you have to figure things out on your own after the lesson. But with Teacher B**g, I felt that I could always reach out whenever I needed help or clarification.

She is very patient, kind, and understanding. She also gives constructive feedback that helps me recognize the things I need to improve. I feel that Teacher B**g doesn’t just want us to finish the program; she really wants us to understand what we are learning and become better teachers.

3. If you're going to share my program to others, what would you say?

I would definitely recommend Teacher B**g’s TESOL program to anyone who wants to learn more about teaching English. I would tell them that Teacher B**g is a very supportive, kind, and helpful teacher, and you will not feel alone throughout the program because she is always willing to guide you.

One thing I really appreciate is that whenever you have a question or something you need to clarify, Teacher B**g is just one email away, and she responds very quickly. For me, having a teacher who is always available to help made the learning experience more comfortable and enjoyable.

I’m really grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from Teacher B**g. Thank you so much for all your support, patience, and guidance throughout the program! I learned a lot, not only about TESOL, but also about how to become a more supportive and effective teacher.

In one of our teacher training at work when I was still a young teacher, we were asked by our trainer to think of an invention that would help us teachers to cope with so many tasks in our work. Then I suggested to my group of one thing I have always wished to have.
For myself to be cloned so I can be able to accomplish all the tasks given to us.
Our group had the best idea according to our trainer. 🙂

I guess that wish has been fulfilled not through cloning but by training teachers to be like me 🙂
