Salatan bags 2nd place at Cluster 3 DSPC
July Faith S. Salatan, a Grade 8 learner, secured 2nd Place in Feature Writing (English – Secondary) during the Cluster 3 Schools Division Schools Press Conference held at Vicente N. Chaves Memorial Central School on August 21, 2026.
Guided by her coach, Ms. Christine R. Pacana, she will advance to the Division Schools Press Conference, carrying the banner of excellence in campus journalism.
This year’s conference theme is: “Mapanuri, Mapanindigan at Mapanagutang Pamamahayag.”

The event gathered young writers and broadcasters from across Cluster 3 schools, showcasing their skills in various categories of campus journalism.
HNHS delegates brought honor to the school by securing 3rd and 4th Places finishes in the following categories:

Jennifer Lee Esalino - Editorial Writing (Filipino) | Coach: Marjorie N. Tating
In addition, several other participants represented HNHS in diverse categories, including Radio Broadcasting, Editorial Writing, Sports Writing, Editorial Cartooning, and Photojournalism in both Filipino and English divisions. Their dedication, guided by committed coaches, reflects the school’s strong support for campus journalism and holistic student development.
