๐ BSEd-Math Juniors, Seniors Attend Practical Statistics Seminar-Workshop ๐
โThird-year and fourth-year BSEd-Math students of BISU-Clarin Campus participated in the Seminar-Workshop on Practical Statistics with Jamovi Application at the BISU-Clarin Computer Laboratory 2 on September 11, 2026. The activity was facilitated by the BSEd-Mathematics faculty. ๐ป
โCTE Dean Dr. Ramil S. Bulilan welcomed the attendees, reminding them that statistics should not be feared, as properly understood data is a tool for solving real-world problems. Campus Director Dr. Denvincent A. Ruiz challenged the students to collaborate with Artificial Intelligence ๐ค to improve their human outputs rather than replace them. This was followed by SEd Chairperson Dr. Romar B. Dinoy, who presented the rationale of the activity.
โDuring the sessions, Dr. Jonathan V. Oludin and Mrs. Flora Mae B. Flores discussed descriptive and inferential statistics ๐ and facilitated a group activity. In the afternoon, Mrs. Rezel Jay A. Laroda guided the students in a hands-on workshop using the Jamovi application, followed by an output presentation led by Caren T. Jabines, a BSEd-Math 4 student. ๐ The event ended with the awarding of certificates and closing remarks from Mr. Jofferson C. Apura, who encouraged the students to share what they learned with others. ๐
