The KIK-Lusan Para Sa Kalusugan: Katawan, Isip, Kalikasan embarks coastal cleanup drive at the shore of Fuerte, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur. This initiative, falls under the programโs advocacy, K for Kalikasan, via reducing the effects of pollution, moreover potential harm to marine animals.
The participants gathered early in the morning equipped not only with trash bags, sacks or tools, but also applied their commitment on upholding a healthier and greener community for future generations. This drive was meant to reduce the impact of the growing concern on marine pollution: removing plastic waste, non-biodegradable materials, and other debris that may impose risks on both marine diversity and public health.
Clean shores mean safer waters, healthier marine life, and a green community. As the waves crash to the cleaner sands, it safeguards a pollution free environment. A simple act of service promotes responsible behavior, and fosters community involvement.
