It whispers tales of yellow giants, rumbling down familiar roads, carrying dreams and laughter. The idea of this furniture is the iconic yellow school bus of University of Northern Philippines, a furniture that conjures a wave of nostalgia, transporting back to simpler times. The main body of the bus serve as the bench that offers comfortable seating of every passenger ensuring a worthy journey on every travel.
A furniture that offers a vessel of memories, not only serves a purpose but also ignites the imagination. The design concept is not just about a piece of furniture, it's about encapsulating cherised memories and bringing them into the present. It's a reminder that even in the most mundane aspects of life it can be transformed into something extraordinary, imbued with emotjln, and designed to bring joy and a sense of wonder.

SHARP SHIVERS Where forms drift as one Sharp Shiver is a shark-inspired furniture design concept rooted in the theme of "Panaglaga"-the act of weaving-symbolizing the interconnection of forms, people, and purpose. The term "sharp" represents intelligence, precision, and quick thinking, like a sharp mind. Meanwhile, "shiver," the collective term for a group of sharks, reflects unity, fluid coordination, and shared direction. Guided by panaglaga, each design element is thoughtfully woven together, creating a seamless relationship between structure, function, and user experience. It also represents UNP and UNPians as a community bound together, moving as one. Combined, "Sharp Shiver" embodies a strong, unified system where individual parts interlace to form a unified and purposeful whole.

Bloom & Basin is a lotus-inspired outdoor furniture concept grounded in panaglaga, where weaving represents the connection between design, people, and purpose. "Bloom" symbolizes growth and transformation, like a lotus gradually unfolding, while "basin" reflects a shared space for grounding, interaction, and learning. Woven using synthetic rattan, each element highlights durability, sustainability, and craftsmanship. The elevated lotus form suggests aspiration, while the lily pad seating creates an open and inviting area for gathering and exchange. Inspired by the floating lotus and lily pads in the lagoon of the University of Northern Philippines, the design captures natural balance and translates it into a functional space that encourages connection and continuous growth.
