This verse highlights the foundation of 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, a perfect reminder to us as we welcome the last week of February and the countdown to the end of this school year. The verse shows students that education extends beyond facts and exams because it helps them develop humility and respect for God. The beginning of knowledge occurs when people recognize that 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 exists beyond their human capacity to know.

Beyond academics, Proverbs 1:7 teaches students that knowledge without moral grounding leads to dangerous outcomes. A person may excel intellectually but fail ethically if they ignore wisdom rooted in reverence for God. This verse teaches students that true 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 requires measurement of their 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗥 and their ability to use knowledge effectively not just their academic achievements.

Students need to achieve two goals because they need to develop their minds while they need to grow their spiritual abilities. The students who accept instruction together with learning procedures will develop into academic achievers who live their lives according to 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆.

PD Zafra’s 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 and 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 on innovation and financial responsibility have impacted our aspiring student-entrepreneurs. His encouragement reinforces our theme, "Activating Business Mindset: Focusing on Accounting, Innovation and Retail," and motivates us to 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲💡 in our future ventures.

Vigan City, Ilocos Sur– The Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) Academic Strands officially opened The Enchanted Fair as a central feature of its annual EntrePinoy Week celebration with the theme "Activating Business Mindset: Focusing on Accounting, Innovation and Retail”. The event, which aims to showcase the student creativity and innovation, drew a significant crowd of students, faculty, and distinguished guests.

Among the officials present at the opening ceremony were ISNHS Principal IV Mrs. Editha C. Bagcal, Assistant Principal II for Academics Mr. Salvador S. Avisa , Subject Group Head for STEM-ABM Dr. Ricky F. Bosque, Subject Group Head for TVL Mr. Romano R. Quitevies, Young Businessmen and Entrepreneurs’ Society (YBES) Club Adviser Mr. Marlou Francisco M. Bitana and Department of Trade and Industry Ilocos Sur Provincial Director H.A. Zaldy Z. Zafra, Jr.

The program featured inspiring messages, highlighted by PD Zafra’s encouragement to embrace innovation and financial responsibility, followed by the Ribbon Cutting and the Judging of booths for the Enchanted Fair.

DTI Ilocos Sur remains committed to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs and supporting programs that promote financial literacy and enterprise development among the youth.

In the highly anticipated 9𝒕𝒉 𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒇𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑨𝑩𝑴 𝑪𝒖𝒑, held on January 30, 2026, at 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞🐦💰 in Dagupan, Pangasinan🎣, five amazing ABMinds stepped up to represent 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.

On the elimination round, our individual representatives entered the Top 76 out of more than 120 participants, with Marzan at 20th and Madongit at 40th. They advanced to the grand finals round where they achieved their final rankings:

This verse carries a powerful message of encouragement and faith. It tells us that no matter how difficult the challenges ahead may be, we must always choose to be 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚 and face them with confidence. Ask for His guidance, and know that you are not alone.

As students, we are often bounded with fear, causing us to shrink back. But Deuteronomy 31:6 teaches us that we don’t have to let fear define us, because God Himself promises to walk beside us. Let us remember that true courage comes not from our own strength, but from the 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 that God will never leave us.

Even when challenges feel overwhelming, we can stand 𝙁𝙄𝙍𝙈, knowing that His presence is constant. So let us face every challenge with 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, not because we are fearless, but because we are never forsaken.

“𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔; 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒅𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒕. 𝑺𝒆𝒆, 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒅𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈! 𝑵𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝒕 𝒔𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒖𝒑; 𝒅𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒕? 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅”

This verse is a powerful reminder that God is a Waymaker who specializes in 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀. It calls us to stop looking back at the "former things" and instead 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄. The "wilderness" and "wasteland" represent those dry, difficult seasons where we feel lost. Even in those moments, God is at work, carving out a path and providing "streams" of refreshment. The question "do you not perceive it?" challenges us to sharpen our spiritual vision so we don't miss the new opportunities and breakthroughs that are already beginning to sprout beneath the surface.

As students, we often find ourselves dwelling on the "what ifs"—the exams that didn't go well, or the moments of burnout we experienced in 2025. Isaiah 43:18-19 teaches us to release that academic baggage and trust in 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 for our future. What may feel like a "wilderness" today is actually the ground where God is doing His most creative work. Even when the road ahead seems impossible to navigate, remember that God is making a way for you and will provide the 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 you need to keep moving.

Let us end this year by letting go of old regrets and stepping into 2026 with 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. Success is not just about reaching the destination; it is about perceiving the "new thing" God is doing within us every single day. Trust that where you expect dryness, He will bring 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, and where you see a dead end, He is already building a 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 to your future.

Pigeons, embrace this truth: when we stop dwelling on the past, we finally have the hands free to grasp the future God has 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 for us.
