December 8 marks the College Day of DWCV. It commemorates the feast of the Immaculate Conception. I remember those college days while studying in this beloved school. We had a costume parade going around the center of Vigan. We celebrated with the Holy Mass to start the festivities. We had parlor games and basketball exhibition games. We had free food, soda, coffee and chocolate drink and sometimes giveaways. Once there was this competition to catch a greased pig that was let loose running around. This was memorable to me. It was really fun and everyone was happy.

This current pandemic has put on hold the schedule for the 50th grand anniversary reunion of High School Class of 1971. Hopefully, with God's grace, the reunion will push through some time in the later part of 2021. We'll see. God bless us all.

Approximately one year from now, DWCV HS Class 1971 will be celebrating its 50th graduation anniversary with a Grand Reunion on January 29 - 30, 2021 in Vigan City. If you are a member of this class or know someone who is a member of this class, please be informed of this event. Batch 71 is the most active among all classes that graduated from DWCV. It has been holding class reunions and gatherings of members on a regular basis since it held its first one in 1975. We look forward to the biggest and the best ever reunion in 2021. See you!👏👏👏
