In line with the University's commitment to fostering leadership excellence, all recognized student leaders from mandated and accredited student organizations, including student publications, gathered for a meaningful dialogue that underscored the vital role of the youth as partners in nation-building and community development.
Anchored on the NYC's mission to promote sustainable developmental policies and programs for and with the Filipino youth, the consultative meeting provided student leaders with a deeper understanding of the Commission's mandate, organizational structure, and its continuing efforts to empower young Filipinos through responsive policies, meaningful engagement, and collaborative leadership.

A significant portion of the discussion focused on the ๐๐ค๐ช๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐ง๐ค๐๐ง๐๐ข (๐๐๐๐), emphasizing its purpose, registration process, and the opportunities it offers youth organizations. Participants also learned about the benefits of YORP registration, including organizational recognition through the YORP Seal, access to capacity-building trainings, endorsements, participation in ๐๐ค๐๐๐ก ๐๐ค๐ช๐ฉ๐ ๐ฟ๐๐ซ๐๐ก๐ค๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐พ๐ค๐ช๐ฃ๐๐๐ก (๐๐๐ฟ๐พ) initiatives, and stronger collaboration with the National Youth Commission.
The consultative meeting served as a valuable learning experience for the newly elected PSO officers, equipping them with insights on youth governance, volunteerism, leadership, and civic engagement. More importantly, it reaffirmed the vital role of student organizations as partners in empowering the youth and creating meaningful impact within their respective communities.
The Psychology Students Organization extends its sincere gratitude to the University of Northern Philippines, and the National Youth Commission, especially Atty. Carl Vincent D. Quitoriano, for an inspiring and insightful discussion that continues to empower student leaders to become active voices and advocates for the Filipino youth.
