The University of Northern Philippines extends its heartfelt congratulations to Very Rev. Nick Vaquilar on his appointment as Bishop-Elect of the Diocese of Urdaneta.

As the University Chaplain, he became a familiar presence in the life of the community, gently guiding prayers, offering thoughtful counsel, and standing with students and personnel in moments of both celebration and reflection. His way of accompanying others in faith has been quietly meaningful and deeply appreciated.

As he embraces this new responsibility in the wider Church, the UNP community holds him in sincere gratitude and prayer, wishing him strength, clarity, and grace in the path he is now called to serve.

With pride and honor, we warmly welcome Most Rev. David William Antonio, as the main celebrant of the Baccalaureate Mass for the UNP 61st Commencement Exercises.
