The College interviewed applicants for its CPALE Review Grant Program on August 15, 2026, with four applicants successfully selected to receive support toward their preparation for the Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination (CPALE).

Dubbed โ€œCPA Ready: CBAA CPALE Review Grant Programโ€”Empowering Future CPAs, Investing in Excellence,โ€ the initiative provides a โ‚ฑ55,000 grant to help qualified and deserving BSA graduates meet the financial demands of CPALE review.
The program is implemented by the CBAA in partnership with the CBAA Parents, Teachers, and Cooperating Agencies Association (CBAA-PTCAA) and BSA Alumni Batch 2001.

The interviews formed part of the programโ€™s screening and selection process, with applicants evaluated based on established criteria. The selection aims to ensure that the grant reaches deserving candidates who require financial assistance in pursuing their professional licensure.

Beyond financial support, the program seeks to strengthen beneficiariesโ€™ examination preparedness, knowledge, skills, and confidence as they work toward becoming Certified Public Accountants.

With four successful grantees selected, the CBAA and its partners continue to demonstrate their commitment to investing in the academic and professional development of future CPAs.

The BS Accountancy Program of the College will be conducting their Educational Tour this 1st Term, AY 2026โ€“2027.

To strengthen organizational effectiveness and promote role clarity, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Development Management (BSBA HRDM) Program conducted the VMGO Review and Institutional Tool Enhancement Program Phase II: Job Analysis and Organizational Role Clarification on July 24, 2026, at the Baluarte Zoo Foundation, Salindeg, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.

The activity was a continuation of the program's extension initiative following the successful implementation of Phase I, which focused on reviewing the institution's Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO) and assessing its existing institutional tools. During Phase II, the extension team conducted structured interviews with supervisors, team leaders, and key personnel to gather information on job duties, responsibilities, reporting relationships, competencies, and work processes. The results of the job analysis will serve as the basis for updating job specifications and job descriptions, enhancing institutional management tools, and aligning organizational roles with the institution's VMGO.

The program was coordinated by Dr. Eileen Paculan, with Dr. Princess Neptalia Quebral serving as Project Leader. The initiative was spearheaded by Dr. John Wilbert Madriaga and organized by Dr. Scott Jason Llanes.

Serving as interviewers, data gatherers, and facilitators were Dr. Princess Neptalia Quebral, Dr. Scott Jason Llanes, Dr. John Wilbert Madriaga, Mr. Jhonniรฑo Serdenia, Mr. Romeo Arce Jr., Mr. Marvin Keith Sosa, Mr. Paul Richard Martin, and Mr. Gerard Edwin Malcaba. Mr. Paul Richard Martin also served as the activity documenter, while Mr. Jhonniรฑo Serdenia prepared the news article.
Through initiatives such as this, the BSBA HRDM Program continues to strengthen its commitment to community extension by assisting partner institutions in improving human resource management practices, enhancing organizational efficiency, and fostering continuous quality improvement.

Driven by its commitment to meaningful community engagement and organizational development, the College, through the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) - Human Resource Development Management (HRDM) Program, spearheaded this extension activity in partnership with the Baluarte Zoo Foundation today, July 24.

Through the expertise of its faculty and extension team, the program conducted a job analysis and role clarification initiative aimed at developing clearer job descriptions, defining responsibilities, and strengthening coordination across the foundation's departments. This collaborative effort reflects the HRDM Program's dedication to applying human resource management principles beyond the classroomโ€”empowering partner institutions with practical solutions that foster organizational effectiveness, improved workplace performance, and sustainable development.
