The unfortunate story of Rosario is the epitome of poverty and its ramifications of poor quality of life in terms of lack of education and access to health care, substandard housing, malnutrition, and improper governance.
Implementation of universal access to health care is crucial, as health is regarded as everybody’s wealth. Unfortunate stories like this have taught us a lot of lessons to ponder.
With the five-star paradigm’s application to promote “health for all” advocacy of the Alma-Ata declaration, unfortunate cases can be prevented; five-star doctors such as:
1. Care provider
2. Decision-maker/Researcher
3. Manager
4. Communicator
5. Community leader
These roles are essential, especially for the geographically challenged and disadvantaged areas, to promote the quality of healthcare and safeguard the community.

Sa panahon na nauuna ang pagkasilaw sa pera, mayroon parin mga pasyente na patuloy na kumakatok at umaasa.
Sa panahon na ang sistemang pang kalusugan ay patuloy na bumababa, ano ba talaga ang kaya nating gawin at ipatupad?
At sa panahon na ang kredibilidad ng bawat doktor ay patuloy na kinukuwestiyon, paano kaya natin ito maiaahon?
Na sa’yo ang solusyon, Doktor.
Pang sariling kita o serbisyo sa kapwa Pilipino? Saan mo mas gustong tumungo?
Ang "Kwento ni Rosario" ay halaw sa tunay na kwento na sumasalamin sa kasalukuyang malubhang kalagayan ng sistemang pangkalusugan sa Pilipinas.
Ang palabas na ito ay isang independienteng proyekto ng mga estudyante ng seksyon 2F ng University of Northern Philippines - College of Medicine. Ang palagay at kaisipan na naipakita sa palabas ay hindi sumasalamin sa opinyon ng unibersidad at ng kolehiyo.
Ang mga tunog na nagamit ay naglalayong walang paglabag sa intelektwal na pag-aari ng karapatan. Lahat ng karapatan ay kinikilala sa wastong may-ari.
Five Star Physician - Section 2B
“Ang Kwento ni Rosario” is a representation of the reality of what unequal opportunities have brought by a poor healthcare system is to a poor child. This narrative recognizes that to be able to achieve an ideal Philippine healthcare system for everyone, socioeconomic, political, and proper moral aspects must coincide. As the years passed by, still, there are many Rosarios out there- helpless and unnoticed.
In this presentation we showcase the importance of having the attributes that a Five Star Physician must embody. A five star physician who is a healer, a manager, a researcher, an educator, and a social mobilizer is what every Filipino needs.
