Something powerful happened on February 27, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Apex Academy Design Laboratory.

Artists, educators, students, and innovators gathered for a conversation that went beyond technique, beyond style, and beyond creativity.

Our Seminar on the Philosophy and Science of Arts reminded us that art is not just something we make it is something that shapes how we think, how we see the world, and how we understand who we are.

We were honored to hear from James Rice, former professor of Philosophy in Arts at Lingnan University, who challenged us to see art not only as expression but as a discipline of thoughtwhere philosophy, science, and creativity meet.

We were equally inspired by Tor Sagud, a TOYM awardee and World Outstanding Youth in Culture and Arts, whose work as an illustrator, animator, and creator of the IGOROTAK series continues to preserve and celebrate the stories and identity of our people. His journey reminds us that art is not only about talent it is about purpose and cultural responsibility.

A very special recognition goes to the College of Fine Arts of the University of Northern Philippines, whose students and faculty served as the heart of this gathering. Your curiosity, passion for learning, and commitment to the arts made this seminar truly meaningful. The future of Philippine arts is bright because of young artists like you.

This gathering was more than a seminar.
It was a reminder that art carries memory, culture, philosophy, and the future of our identity.
