The Supreme Order of University Legislators (SOUL) conducted the "Into the Minds of Legislation: Policy Making Process Workshop and Seminar" on October 10, 2025, at the Guestel, University of Northern Philippines.
The morning session was facilitated by Ms. Mae-Angelica V. Salvador Garcia, followed by an afternoon session with Mr. Arnold Pio, both of whom provided comprehensive discussions on legislative processes and policy formulation.
This activity served as a valuable opportunity for SOUL members to enhance their knowledge and skills in developing responsive, transparent, and inclusive policies that promote effective governance within the university.

𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗟'𝗦 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

The SOUL held its first Regular Session on, September 27, 2025, with the day's business focused on the setting of 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘀. Each senator actively participated by sharing initiatives aimed at strengthening student welfare and leadership.

This gathering highlighted the Assembly's commitment to dialogue, collaboration, and action. Laying the groundwork for impactful policies that reflect the needs and aspirations of the student body.

This is only the beginning, and SOUL is ready to move forward with purpose, passion, and dedication on service to many UNP students.

𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥: 𝙐𝙉𝙋 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

The Supreme Order of the University Legislators (SOUL) alongside with the Student Council successfully conducted an orientation entitled "Into the Intracies of Student Governance in UNP: An Orientation on the Rules and Functions of the Student Government and Independent Committees" on September 15, 2025, at the Student Council Lounge, University of Northern Philippines.

The program formally opened with the remarks of 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗳𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘇, 𝗠𝗔𝗲𝗱 followed by a message from 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼, 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀. The discussion proper was held by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 as the resource speaker, and the activity concluded with closing remarks delivered by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼 𝗙. 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗮.

The orientation acquainted the student leaders of the Student Council, SOUL, HOPE and SAFE with their roles, responsibilities, and functions in student governance, thereby strengthening leadership rooted in service, accountability, and integrity.

𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟲𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀: 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗟 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗲

The University of Northern Philippines officially launched its Diamond Jubilee Celebration, marking 60 years of growth, innovation, and excellence. The event featured a flag ceremony, the official launching program, and a unity walk that gathered the whole UNP community.

The Senators of the SOUL Supreme Order of University Legislative also joined the Unity Walk, showing their support and presence alongside fellow students and colleges as UNP celebrated this milestone.

𝙈𝙀𝙀𝙏 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙎𝙐𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙈𝙀 𝙊𝙍𝘿𝙀𝙍 𝙊𝙁 𝙐𝙉𝙄𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙎𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝙇𝙀𝙂𝙄𝙎𝙇𝘼𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙎 (𝙎𝙊𝙐𝙇) 2025-2026

A new academic year begins, and with it comes a new roster of student leaders who will serve as the voice of the UNP community. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 (𝙎𝙊𝙐𝙇) for 2025-2026 steps forward with a shared vision: to uphold leadership that listens, represents, and empowers.

This year's senators bring with them diverse strengths and perspectives from every college, united by one goal; building a student-centered university where growth, collaboration, and inclusivity thrive. From drafting resolutions to amplifying student concerns, they are prepared to transform ideas into actions that truly matter.
