The three-day leadership program "Student Government Festival 2026" organized by the University of Northern Philippines Student Council (UNP-SC), concluded with an Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony for various University student organizations on January 16, 2026 which served as a meaningful celebration of unity, leadership, and dedication.

The Team Medics Organization of the College of Health Sciences, officially took their Oath of Office during the event, marking a renewed commitment to leadership, service, and student empowerment.

In response to the request of the Organization of Business Administration Students (OBAS), the Team Medics Organization proudly served as the official medical support team during the 27th Annual Business Week Celebration FilipinOlympics 2026, held on January 29, 2026.

It includes physically engaging activities which require immediate first aid support and on-site care. The organization provided on-site medical assistance and emergency response, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of participants, organizers, and guests throughout the event. The Team Medics Organization once again reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives and promoting a culture of preparedness, safety, and care in every university activity.

𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘𝟒𝐎𝐉𝐓: 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

In collaboration with the Hospitality Management Student Organization, the Team Medics Organization officers extended their assistance and expertise to equip future hospitality professionals with essential knowledge and preparedness for their on-the-job training through an informative discussion on Basic First Aid and other important safety reminders for 4th-year Hospitality Management students held on January 7, 2026, at the UNP Auditorium. The discussion entitled "𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑨𝒊𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔: 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑯𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒔" highlights Basic First Aid and safety reminders for Hospitality Tourism Management students on OJT. This aimed to strengthen students’ awareness and readiness in responding to possible emergency situations they may encounter during their OJT deployment, such as Choking, Sprains and Strains, Allergic Reactions, Cuts and Minor Wounds, Burns, Slips, Trips, and Falls.

The College of Health Sciences of the University of Northern Philippines initiated "𝑺𝑨𝑭𝑬𝑹 - 𝑪𝑯𝑺: 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑯𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝑺𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒔." Dr. Joussie B. Bermio, Dean of the College of Health Sciences, along with BSEHS faculty and students, cooperated with the Rotary Club of Vigan to strengthen community preparedness and promote essential lifesaving skills among the people of Manueva, Santa, Ilocos Sur on December 17, 2025. In line with its commitment to community extension and public health, the program featured Basic Life Support, Bandaging, and Splinting Training designed to equip participants with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Choking Management, Wound Care, Bandaging Techniques, and Proper Splinting, equipping participants with essential emergency response skills and promoting community health and safety.

In honor of its 33rd founding anniversary, the University of Northern Philippines, College of Health Sciences, proudly celebrates through Pammadayaw 2025 on November 14, 2025. This is a significant event for the college as it celebrates a long history of excellence, dedication, and service in the health sciences. This is also a reflection of the CHS community's solidarity, accomplishments, and common goals as it continues to nurture future health professionals and uphold its mission of providing high-quality, compassionate education.

The College of Health Sciences of the University of Northern Philippines marked its 33rd Founding Anniversary on November 13, 2025, at the UNP Gymnasium. An international seminar was held in collaboration with 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐡𝐝𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥 𝐔𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐚 (𝐔𝐍𝐔𝐒𝐀) 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚. With the theme "𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬: 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞," it highlighted the importance of international partnership, innovation, and excellence in health sciences education and practice.

The University of Northern Philippines celebrated Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna's 6th Leadership Anniversary at the UNP Gymnasium on November 06, 2025, honoring six years of devoted service and transformative leadership.

A eucharistic celebration was held prior to the event as a moment of thanksgiving to God for all of the university's blessings, accomplishments, and direction over the years.

The State of the University Address (SUA) was also held and delivered by the University President, which highlighted significant achievements, milestones, and the university's future course.

The celebration was attended by distinguished guests, university officials, faculties, staff, and students, which also turned into a significant occasion to acknowledge common accomplishments and reaffirm the University's mission through a solemn Pledge of Commitment. In the pursuit of the university's vision and mission, the gathering reflected unity, gratitude, and a renewed commitment to excellence, service, and purposeful leadership.

The College of Health Sciences of the University of the Northern Philippines joined a medical, dental, and optical outreach at Our Lady of Pilar Parish in Concepción, Gregorio Del Pilar, Ilocos Sur, on October 5, 2025, through the Bachelor of Science in Emergency Health Services faculty and Team Medics officers. This meaningful initiative brought essential healthcare services closer to the community, reflecting commitment to service, compassion, and public health.
