It is with immense pride and jubilation that we congratulate our 110 new physicians who made it in the Physician Licensure Examination held last March 2026.

Our hearts are overflowing as we celebrate our first ever topnotcher, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗔. 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗮 - Batch 2024, who ranked 10th in the said examination.

The school boasts of its performance, as it garnered an overall passing rate of 𝟴𝟯.𝟳𝟮% (𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀) against that of the national passing rate of 𝟳𝟬.𝟰𝟭%

The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) College of Medicine will begin accepting admission requirements for incoming first-year students for Academic Year 2026–2027 starting February 3, 2026.
Aspiring future doctors are encouraged to prepare and submit their requirements on time.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦!

The Commission on Higher Education has officially granted the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for UNP’s Doctor of Medicine Program, effective Academic Year 2026–2027.

This approval reflects the hard work behind the program, from planning and preparation to meeting national standards, and affirms UNP’s readiness to deliver quality medical education.

This milestone is also a reflection of Dr. Erwin Cadorna’s inspiring leadership, Dean Pablo Quedado’s steady guidance, and dedication of the faculty and staff whose hard work and teamwork made this achievement possible.

The University of Northern Philippines – College of Medicine held a 𝙏𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 last November 21, 2025 honoring the October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination passers.

The event celebrated the passers’ achievement, recognized the support of faculty and mentors, parents, and reaffirmed UNP’s commitment to producing competent and compassionate physicians for the nation.

This was also attended by representatives from 𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙧𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙙𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 and 𝙄𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙨 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 who engaged with the newly recognized physicians to help guide them in choosing their medical specialties.

On November 20, 2025, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) conducted a benchmarking activity at the University of Northern Philippines – College of Medicine.

The initiative was designed to enhance academic collaboration, exchange best practices in medical education, and ensure alignment with established curriculum standards.

𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼! |We proudly commend our 24 MSRS scholars who passed the Physician Licensure Examination last October 2025, standing out among 111 scholars nationwide.

𝑻𝒐 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑼𝑵𝑷 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒆𝒆𝒔 | The 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒍𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 is now ongoing until October 29, 2025, from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. This project is in cooperation with Metro Vigan Hospital and Ilocos Sur Provincial Hospital-Gabriela Silang as part of the World COPD Day.
