🔥 TEKKEN 8 TOURNAMENT — OFFICIAL RULES 🎮🥊

“Where skill decides everything. No excuses. No second chances.”

📜 Game Rules:

• Format: Double Elimination

• Match Format: Best of 3 (First to 2 wins)

• Losers Finals, Semi-Finals, Grand Finals: Best of 5 (First to 3 wins)

• Grand Finals Reset: Losers bracket player must win 2 sets

• Timer: 60 seconds

• Rounds: 3 rounds per match

• Stage Select: Random (mandatory)

• Character Select: Must be locked before match starts

• Controller Settings: Button check allowed before match

• Pausing: Strictly prohibited during matches (penalty may apply)

• Coaching: Not allowed during matches

• Side Switching: Allowed after each game

SOT Smashes Through Opening Match of Women’s Badminton Singles

The School of Technology (SOT) opened their Women’s Badminton Singles campaign with an impressive victory as Karyl Besabella delivered a strong performance against the School of Business (SOB). Besabella dominated the court with sharp smashes and consistent rallies, ending the match with a solid 21–15 win on November 22, 2025, at the NBI Ground.

Up next, the Women’s Badminton Singles match will continue with the SOE facing the SOB, scheduled right after each game and to be held at the same venue, the NBI Ground.

Maroon Dragons Smash Victory against Jaguars

In an exciting start to the men’s badminton matches, SOT showcased their dominance with Regie Noquera leading the team to a 21-14 win over SOB. Noquera’s sharp reflexes and strategic plays proved too much for the SOB players, securing an impressive victory for SOT in the opening game.

The next match will feature the School of Education (SOE) Blue Falcon against the School of Business (SOB) Golden Jaguars. Each game will follow immediately after the previous one and will be held at the NBI Ground.

Badminton Thrills Continue as SOT and SOE Battle for the Title

The men’s badminton tournament at the NBI Ground has been full of excitement, with standout performances from both SOT and SOE. In the first game, SOT’s Regie Noquera led his team to a 21-14 win over SOB. The second game saw SOE’s Justine San Gabriel bounce back with a 21-16 victory over SOB.

In the third game, Regie Noquera once again showed his skill, securing a 21-17 win for SOT against SOE. With both teams proving their strength, anticipation is building for the championship game between SOE and SOT.

SOT Strikes Hard to Badminton Championship

In a thrilling championship match at the NBI Ground, SOT’s Regie Noquera led his team to victory over SOE, winning 20-14. Noquera’s sharp shots and quick reflexes proved decisive, securing the title for SOT and capping off an exciting tournament.

The championship game was a showcase of skill and determination, keeping fans on the edge of their seats throughout.
