In the aftermath of the recent earthquake and typhoon, our Basic Education Guidance Office Lower BED & SHS has prepared a series of fun, supportive, and restorative activities to help our students cope, recover, and reconnect.

Our Kamustahan sessions gave students a safe and friendly space to share how they were feeling. It was inspiring to see everyone opening up, supporting one another, and strengthening our sense of community.

Candy Pong brought excitement and smiles as students won DIY stickers and special prizes. Wheel of Questions inspired thoughtful responses and encouraged connection and resilience.

These simple yet meaningful activities aim to bring comfort, strengthen resilience, and remind everyone that healing is easier when we do it together. Thanks to your enthusiasm, our activities were a success!

On August 26, 2025, our Grade 9 and Grade 10 students took part in the Stress Management Seminar: Phase 2 an interactive learning guided by the empowering insights of Ms. Hannah Hazel M. Tumampos, CHMT, Working Scholars and Peer Facilitators.

With the support of the UCLM Guidance Office, the seminar aimed to help students understand their emotions, manage academic pressures, and build healthier ways to cope with daily challenges. 🌈💭

Because managing stress isn’t just about staying strong—it’s about learning to grow through every challenge with courage and self-awareness. 💚

On July 19, 2025, parents of our preschool and elementary learners gathered for the seminar “Seeing Beyond the Surface: Understanding Your Child’s Developmental and Behavioral Signals.” 🧠💞

With the insightful expertise of Dr. Jacqueline Jabonero Espina, MD, FPPD, FPSDBP, and warm welcome remarks from Dr. Emmalyn Lazo-Reveldez, MP, FPPS, the session shed light on the importance of observing, understanding, and nurturing every child’s unique growth journey.

This meaningful event, introduced and supported by the UCLM Medical Clinic through Dr. Leah G. Lafuete, MD, FPPS, reminded us that parenting goes beyond care—it’s about connection, awareness, and love that understands even the unspoken. 🤍
