Our Story

ILLAI ENGLISH PH INC. (Former: Talk Phone English Corporation) is an online ESL program catering non-native English speakers specifically, Korean Nationals. The company has started its firm since 2006. Classes usually last for a choice of 10, 15, 20, or 25 minutes. Major clients courses offered to clients are TOEIC, OPIC, G-TELP, ESPA, EPTA, TOEFL, LET’S SPEAK, ECL and general conversational classes.

Since new technologies and the Internet rapidly changes how we traditionally perceive education, and in order to remain competitive, universities find it that they must keep up with technological advances by implementing them in their classrooms. But nowadays, students and potential employers are not satisfied sitting through a course with only a textbook and a lecturer, demanding a more hands-on and integrative approach to learning. Similarly, while many adults realize the importance of lifelong learning in order to improve their chances of promotion or to enable them to make a career change, they are often too busy, too distant, or feel intimidated to attend traditional face-to-face (f2f) courses. Online distance learning has proven to be a convenient, time-efficient, and cost-effective alternative.

As the diversity of student populations change globally, teaching English as a second language is a skill in high demand. This program enhances skills in communicating with speakers of other languages and integrating techniques to successfully instruct students in English proficiency.

Online language learning courses have a lot of potential. They do not only enable learners to attend face to face courses but, more importantly, provide opportunities to learn in a collaborative environment with people of different nationalities and cultures. Similarly, asynchronous communication is more convenient than synchronous communication for learners with various schedules in different parts of the world. The content should be limited to features of the Internet, telephone and computer-mediated communication.
