Who are the world’s deadliest serial killers? The zodiac killer? Jack the ripper? I could go on, but as deadly as these so called historical killers were, it is unfortunately none of them. Yes, we have had historical killers who are still alive and kicking to this very day, and their killing spree won’t stop anytime soon. AIDS, Tuberculosis, Cancer and the likes have been terrorizing the human race for centuries. Women, children, grown men, no one is exempted from the wrath of these serial killers.
SDG number 3 – Ensuring Good Health and Well Being for All in All Ages is an effort to fight off these deadly health issues, who are threatening the lives of not only pregnant women, but even little children. Major progress has been made in the field of reducing the spread of contagious diseases like AIDS and malaria, as well as creating more avenues for clean water and sanitation. However, the full eradication of these diseases requires combined efforts of governments and common folk alike to promote health related policies and encourage proper hygiene in all regions in the world.
Together, let us bring these serial killers to face justice.

Globally, one in nine people in the world today (815 million) are undernourished. Poor nutrition causes nearly half (45 per cent) of deaths in children under five – 3.1 million children each year.
One in four of the world’s children suffer stunted growth. In developing countries the proportion can rise to one in three. By 2030 we must ensure to end all forms of malnutrition, end hunger and ensure access by all people, in particular the poor and people in vulnerable situations, including infants, to safe, nutritious and sufficient food all year round.

All around the world, news clippings and studies would say that from time to time poverty continued to prosper in each nation. Poverty? Yes poverty indeed is present all around the globe. Poverty is not something new, in fact it is an old-age concept that hitherto exist in our gadget-infested era.
It is undeniably true that there is a widespread manifestation of poverty in the Philippines. From rural to urban areas, poverty is very prevalent. In order to address this long-standing phenomenon, the United Nations initiated a Sustainable Development Goals that shall seek to provide a way in attaining 'inclusive development' especially in developing countries.
SDG 1, is anchored on NO POVERTY in which each nation has the responsibility to fill in the gaps that shall in a way eradicate nor lessen poverty. With the availability of resources everywhere, one ought not to turn a blind eye in this issue. Rather, we must showcase what we have, by initiating strategic efforts i.e. outreach programs aimed to alleviate the status quo of those trap in the borders of extreme poverty.
We call for all private and public sectors to join our fight against poverty. One action counts. Let us therefore, act and be the catalysts of change our predecessors expected us to be.
TOGETHER LETS END POVERTY.
