In view of recent concerns regarding school safety and incidents of violence in educational settings, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) wishes to formally remind all students of their shared responsibility in upholding a safe, orderly, and secure school environment.
In this regard, all students are respectfully urged to observe the following:
1. Exercise responsibility and discretion in communicating information.
- Students are reminded to exercise proper judgment when discussing or sharing information, particularly on social media and other online platforms. Refrain from disseminating unverified or sensationalized information, making inappropriate remarks, or treating serious safety concerns as matters of amusement. Any discussion or sharing of information should be conducted with accuracy, respect, and due consideration for its potential impact on the school community.
2. Strictly comply with established safety and security protocols.
- All students are expected to fully cooperate with security personnel and authorized school personnel in the implementation of established safety procedures. These measures are intended to safeguard the entire school community and must therefore be observed with utmost responsibility and cooperation.
3. Uphold a safe, respectful, and responsible school environment.
- Every student has a role in maintaining a secure and supportive environment. Students are encouraged to remain vigilant, demonstrate respect toward others, and act responsibly when encountering circumstances that may affect the safety and welfare of the school community.
Students are likewise reminded that seeking assistance when faced with concerns regarding safety, well-being, or other serious matters is both appropriate and encouraged. Those who require guidance or counseling may approach the Guidance Counselor through SciHi Guidance & Counseling, In Between Breaths or another trusted school authority for proper assistance and support.
The SSLG remains committed to fulfilling its responsibility to inform, represent, and support the student body, particularly on matters concerning student welfare and school safety. We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and responsible while consistently observing the schoolโs established policies, protocols, and safety measures.
We respectfully seek the full cooperation, understanding, and responsible participation of the entire student body in maintaining the safety and security of our school community.
