The University of the Philippines Cebu PS 153 (Selected Issues in Philippine Governance and Politics) Group 3 on Sustainable Development presents an Online Academic Lecture Series and Panel Discussion on Sustainable Development and Urban Governance in Cebu City.

As Cebu City continues to pursue rapid economic growth, important questions remain: Who truly benefits from development? How are vulnerable communities affected by urban transformation? And can economic progress genuinely coexist with social equity and environmental sustainability?

This virtual forum brings together experts and stakeholders to critically examine Cebu Cityโ€™s localization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in relation to livelihood security, public markets, informal work, environmental governance, and community-centered development.
