OFFICIAL ADVISORY: Designation of Officer-in-Charge for Enrollment

Please be informed that the Assistant Chair of the Department of Accountancy, Mr. Arvin F. Suralta, will be on leave and away from the office from June 15 to June 19, 2026.

During this period, Mr. Alfe Daro has been officially designated as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) for Enrollment. He will attend to and facilitate all enrollment-related concerns, inquiries, and transactions in the Assistant Chair's absence.

We kindly request all students, parents, faculty members, and stakeholders to extend their full cooperation and coordinate directly with Mr. Daro for enrollment matters during these dates.

This advisory has been noted by the Department Chair, Dr. Challoner A. Matero, and is issued for the information and guidance of everyone concerned.

International Academic Collaboration: Visiting Professor Program

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Soegijapranata Catholic University is pleased to host Dr. Eleanor D. Paclijan from the Department of Accountancy, University of San Carlos (Cebu, Philippines), for an international academic engagement from June 8–12, 2026.

Throughout this week-long program, Dr. Paclijan engaged with our academic community through a series of high-impact initiatives, including:
-General Lectures for broader student engagement
-Specialized Academic Class Sessions
-Strategic Joint Research Activities
-Community Service Programs

This collaborative initiative spans the Accounting and Management departments across both undergraduate and graduate levels (Master of Accounting and Master of Management). It marks a significant step forward in fostering global knowledge exchange, advancing research synergy, and strengthening the institutional partnership between both universities.

With an incredible 42.86% USC Passing Rate—significantly surpassing the 30.83% national passing rate—you have proven once again what Carolinian excellence and resilience truly mean.

To our newly minted Carolinian Certified Public Accountants: You did it. You survived the long journey, conquered the boards, and earned those three hard-fought letters after your names. Your department could not be prouder to welcome you, no longer just as our students, but as our official colleagues in the profession.

USC-IMA STUDENT CHAPTER MAKES HISTORY AS THE FIRST ASIA-PACIFIC RECIPENT OF THE CLARK JOHNSON AWARD
