𝗖𝗘𝗧𝗔 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗜 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗹

VISAYANIANS from the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture (CETA) placed 2nd runner-up during the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) Math Quiz Bowl competition last March 22, 2025, at Don Bosco Technical College.

The competition was part of CESAFI Season 24's series of academic and cultural events.

Meanwhile, the winning team consisted of freshman civil engineering student Peter Stevens T. Adarne, sophomore civil engineering student Gustavo D. Larrazabal, and junior electrical engineering student Dina C. Banogon, together with their coach, Engr. Timothy Pellina.

Yesterday, the 2nd floor of the Teresita Building was abuzz with intellectual excitement as our Mind Games event took center stage!

Student leaders from the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture expertly facilitated five thrilling competitions:

🔠Scrabble: Where wordsmiths wielded their linguistic prowess!
♟Chess: Strategic battles of wit and logic unfolded!
🔢Math Quiz Bowl: Numbers ninjas showcased their mathematical mastery!
🌎Science Quiz Bowl: Young scientists demonstrated their knowledge of the natural world!
📚Spelling Bee: Spelling virtuosos proved their vocabulary skills!

Kudos to our CETA student leaders for organizing an unforgettable Mind Games event!

"ESPORTS FEVER HITS CETA DAY 2025!✨

Yesterday, the 2nd floor lobby of DJR Bldg was transformed into a battleground of epic proportions! Five fearless teams gathered to clash in a thrilling Mobile Legends tournament, and the energy was ELECTRIC!

Huge thanks to our facilitator, Engr. Kent Ivan Unabia, for hosting an unforgettable gaming experience!

As the teams faced off, the air was thick with tension. Each match was a testament to the players' skill, strategy, and teamwork. The crowd cheered, chants filled the air, and the competition was FIERCE!

"CETA DAY 2025: A RESOUNDING SUCCESS!❤️✨

March 7, 2025, will be etched in our memories forever! The College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture Student Council (CETASC) hosted an unforgettable CETA DAY celebration!

A morning of pride, passion, and camaraderie! The CETA Parade set the stage as we showcased the brilliance of Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Architecture, filling the campus with energy and excitement.

Kudos to our dynamic hosts, Ms. Vina O. Señedo and Mr. Raniel F. Aldave from Civil Engineering, for kicking off the morning program . Each college showcased their unique style, accompanied by their talented Mr. and Ms. CETA representatives!

We were then inspired by a warm welcome message from our CETA Dean, Dr. Edgar C. Ambos, followed by CETA-SC President Ruby Ann Codaste for the introduction of our dedicated teaching and non-teaching faculty members, the pillars of our institution. The spotlight then turned to our Mr. & Ms. CETA candidates, who captivated us with their confidence and charm.

To wrap up the morning, the spirit of tradition and teamwork came alive with Larong Pinoy, bringing laughter, friendly competition, and a sense of nostalgia.
