In a world that’s fast, processed, and disconnected, this activity invites us to slow down—and come back to nature.

Through hands-on planting and conversations on holistic food, this session reminds us where food really comes from, why growing even a small amount matters, and how caring for the soil is also a way of caring for our health and our communities.

Led by Dr. Ann Evange Mendoza, a Biology major, and advocate for organic living, this activity connects sustainability, wellness, and everyday choices—showing that growing your own food, choosing organic, and protecting green spaces are simple but powerful acts of impact.
