Cebu International School is an IB World School offering PYP, MYP, and the Diploma Programme. Users are expected to use the site only for those purposes.

Our End of Semester Assembly filled our morning with laughter, music, proud moments, and all the heart that makes up the CIS Community.

With a vintage camera, a whole lot of gifts, and a heart of service, our Grade 12 volunteers set out to our community partners in Umapad Elementary School and a community in Talisay to deliver the annual Tree of Giving gifts our community prepares every year.

And even with so much unfolding throughout the months, our community still came together and gathered over 700 gifts for children this season.

Moments like these remind us of what matters in this ever-changing world, raising students who show up with compassion, generosity, and heart, both in and beyond the classroom.

We enjoy seeing our Grade 7s excitement during their MYP Science lab session on the properties of water. The class experimented with dissolving solutes, density, and surface tension. Hands-on experiences help students connect what they learn in class to real-world applications.

The CIS-PTA hosted a "Positive Self-Regulation and Co-Regulation for Parents" workshop, led by Ms. Ana M. Quijano.

Ms. Ana, an occupational therapist, educator, and certified Positive Self-Regulation coach, talked us through how children’s emotions and behavior are shaped by their energy levels, sense of safety, and the cues they take from the adults around them; and reminded us that co-regulation starts with us, as children take cues from regulated parents and teachers.

We are grateful to our parents for showing up and learning together as a community.

Just days after the typhoon, the CIS community showed what it truly means to care. 💚

Teachers, staff, students, and parents came together for a clean-up in Villa del Rio, Bacayan, one of the areas most heavily affected by the typhoon and a neighborhood home to some of our community members. Everyone stepped in where help was needed most, from clearing drainages and hauling mud, to moving cars, washing down homes, clearing mud, carrying furniture, and simply offering comfort and presence.
