Face-to-face classes at ALL LEVELS in ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS in the Municipality of Medellin remain SUSPENDED due to the continuing effects of Tropical Storm “BASYANG.”

📚 Schools are advised to continue shifting to alternative modes of learning.

This precautionary measure is implemented to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and school personnel amid adverse weather conditions.

In view of the expected impact of Tropical Depression “BASYANG” and as part of the Municipality of Medellin’s preparedness and safety measures, the Municipal Government of Medellin hereby announces the suspension of face-to-face classes for ALL LEVELS in ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS within the municipality.

🗓 Effective Period:

• February 5, 2026 (Thursday)

📚 Schools are advised to shift to other alternative modes of learning during the suspension period.

This measure is implemented to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and school personnel, especially in areas that may be affected by adverse weather conditions.
