ECHOES OF REVOLUTION: 40th EDSA PEOPLE POWER REVOLUTION

Courage, unity, and freedom was clearly displayed 40 years ago. A valiant fight to escape from fear and to attain freedom, from shackled voices to deafening shouts—today we honor those that have fought with bravery, sacrifice, and unbreakable spirit—the Filipino people that stood together to oppose tyranny and molded democracy. The EDSA Revolution is a constant reminder that the power for change is within ourselves and that as long as we are united, as long as we defend the truth, and as long as our courage overcomes fear, the nation shall change for the people. Though we weren’t there to experience it and live through it, we still carry the torch of its ideals, meanings, and responsibility. NEVER FORGET. NEVER AGAIN.
