ON GOING BATTLE!!!

The Question is this: Is the King James Bible "Inspired" or "Preserved"?

Answer: BOTH!
Explanation: It is not inspired as the same fashion as the Originals were. In the Originals, they started with a blank sheet of vellum, (animal skin), paper or rock (10) commandments. When the writing was done, the result was the Inspired Originals (Psalm 12:6)

In the case of the King James translators, we all know that they did not sit in the room with a blank sheet of paper and write like Moses, like David, like Isaiah, like Ezekiel etc.. No, they had BOTH the Hebrew & Greek manuscripts, numerous early English translations as well as other foreign language translations. For the reason we say the King James Bible is Preserved word of God (Psalm 12:7)

But, is the King James Bible Inspired in that it is the Preservation of the Inspired words of God? ABSOLUTELY!
As one of the great preacher asked..."If the King James Bible isn't Inspired, at what point did Inspiration "fall out"?

(2nd Pet.2:1) But there were FALSE PROPHETS also AMONG THE PEOPLE, even as there shall be FALSE TEACHERS AMONG YOU, who privily shall bring in DAMNABLE HERESIES, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
(v.2) And MANY SHALL FOLLOW their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of TRUTH SHALL BE EVIL SPOKEN OF.
(v.3) And through COVETOUNESS shall they with FEIGNED WORDS make MERCHANDISE OF YOU: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

(2nd Cor.11:15) Therefore it is no great thing if his MINISTERS also be TRANSFORMED as the ministers of righteousness; WHOSE END shall be ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS.

ETERNAL SECURITY

The Holy Spirit is the EARNEST OF OUR INHERITANCE. He is the GUARANTEE that we will RECEIVE THE REST of what God has promised.

What is an EARNEST?
In buying Real Estate, you will give EARNEST MONEY to show that you are EARNEST or serious about buying a piece of land. If you later decide NOT to purchase the land, the SELLER still RETAINS the EARNEST MONEY. In other words, an EARNEST IS A PARTIAL PAYMENT that CANNOT be taken back.

The Holy Spirit by definition is our EARNEST, cannot be taken back even if we are to "become lost". Otherwise, you never had the Holy Spirit in EARNEST. Therefore, in order to lose your salvation, you must take God's Spirit with you in hell, which is of course impossible!!!

(Ephesians 1 : 13-14)
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, YE WERE SEALED with that HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE,
Which is the EARNEST OF OUR INHERITANCE until the REDEMPTION OF THE PURCHASED POSSESSION, unto the praise of his glory.

The ecclesiastical machine and religious bosses always try to take over a man's conscience. Don't ever let anyone rule your conscience but God Almighty.

(Acts 5:29) Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

(1st Pet.5:2) Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

(1st Pet.5:3) Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

Please Don't Wake Him Up

A man was giving his testimony at one of those old Salvation Army open-air street meetings. As he was testifying, a heckler in the crowd yelled, "Why don't you shut up and sit down? You're just dreaming."

Immediately, that heckler felt a tug on his coat. He looked down to see a little girl, who said, "Sir, may I speak to you? That man who is talking up there is my daddy. Daddy used to be a drunkard. He used to spend all of the money he made on whiskey. My mother was very sad and would cry most of the time. Sometimes when my daddy came home, he would hit my mother. I did not have shoes or a nice dress to wear to school. But look at my shoes. And see this pretty dress? My daddy bought these for me."
But the little girl was not through with that heckler yet. "See my mother over there? She's the one with the bright smile on her face. She's happy now. She sings even when she is doing the ironing." Then the little girl said, "Mister, if my daddy is dreaming, please do not wake him up."

One time a preacher went to a fair. He was walking down the midway, looking at the carnival sideshows, and stopped to watch a knife thrower. The knife-thrower threw twelve knives at his "beautiful assistant" up against a wall completely outlining her body and never once hitting her.

The preacher walked away from that praying, "Lord, help me never to preach like that."

The preaching of the word of God should be pointed; it should be convicting. The word sermon is derived from the Latin word that means "to thrust" or "to stab." If the preacher doesn't throw his "knife" so that it hits you where it hurts, spiritually he is a failure as a preacher.
