The Cebu City Government is closely monitoring the effects of the recent eruption of Kanlaon Volcano as reported by PHIVOLCS.

In view of the reported volcanic ashfall affecting Cebu City, the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CCDRRMO) is closely coordinating with PHIVOLCS, PAGASA, and other concerned agencies to continuously monitor the situation and issue appropriate advisories.

The public is advised to:
• Remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information.
• Monitor only official advisories from PHIVOLCS, PAGASA, and the Cebu City Government.
• Wear face masks when outdoors, especially children, senior citizens, pregnant women, and individuals with respiratory conditions.
• Stay indoors as much as possible if ashfall becomes heavier and report any emergency concerns to your Barangay officials or the CCDRRMO.

The Cebu City Government remains on heightened alert and is committed to safeguarding the health and welfare of all Cebuanos. Further updates will be issued as the situation develops.

Emergency Meeting | School Rules and Regulations Implementation

The SSLG conducted an emergency meeting on the implementation of the school’s rules and regulations for the new school year.

Led by our School Principal, Mr. Ronald S. Relampago, and guided by our SSLG Adviser, Mr. Nicole L. Sullano, the meeting emphasized discipline, responsibility and a safe learning environment for every Baniladnon.

As we begin another school year, let us all do our part in upholding the values and standards of Banilad Night High School 💙

To ensure a safe, secure, and orderly school environment, all students are reminded to wear and present their official school ID at all times when entering the campus.

Please be guided by the following reminders:
✅ No School ID, No Entry
✅ Parents/Guardians may only enter the campus with an official appointment or authorization.
✅ Wait outside the school premises when picking up or bringing items to students.
✅ Bringing prohibited or dangerous items inside the campus is strictly prohibited.

Parents and School, Working Hand in Hand! 🤝📚

A meaningful start to another school year as Banilad Night High School gathered parents and guardians for its General PTA Meeting. The orientation focused on DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, strengthening awareness of the school’s commitment to providing every learner with a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.

The discussion was spearheaded by our School Principal, Mr. Ronald S. Relampago, together with Mrs. Vivian A. Tagupa, School Principal of Banilad Elementary School, emphasizing the vital role of parents and the school in guiding learners toward academic success and positive character development.

To all our parents and guardians, thank you for taking the time to be with us. Your involvement and continued partnership inspire us to build a stronger school community for every Banilad Night High School learner.
