Today, we mark the last day of immersion of our student teachers at Deccap School.

You entered our classrooms as learners and leave as future educators shaped by experience, patience, and purpose. May the lessons you gained here guide your hearts and hands as you continue to mold young minds. The journey of teaching is just beginning, walk it with passion and integrity. 🌱✨

Today we celebrated Family Day at school, a beautiful reminder of the love and support that families bring into our children’s lives. Seeing families share smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments made this day truly special.

Family is a child’s first source of strength and learning, and when families and schools come together, children grow with confidence, love, and joy. Thank you to all the families who joined us and made this celebration memorable 🤍✨

With profound sadness and deep respect, DECCAP School shares the passing of our beloved father, Captain Rene “Bebet” Mondejar Omandac, who was peacefully called home to the Lord on December 20, 2025, at the age of 67, surrounded by the love of his family, with his devoted wife by his side.

Captain Omandac was a man of integrity, dedication, and quiet strength. His life was a testament to service, discipline, and love values that continue to inspire not only his family but also the community he touched. His legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him and were guided by his example.

Prayers and the novena will be held daily at DECCAP School, Tisa, Cebu City, where the school community may gather in prayer and remembrance.

The wake will be held at St. Peter Chapels – Imus, Cebu City, beginning December 26, 2025, 5:00 PM.
A Holy Mass will be celebrated on December 30, 2025, 1:00 PM at San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish, Tisa, Cebu City, followed by interment at Evergreen Memorial Garden, Cebu City.

We humbly ask the entire school community to keep the Omandac family in your prayers during this time of mourning. We are deeply grateful for the prayers, condolences, and unwavering support extended to the family and the school.

May the Lord grant eternal rest to Captain Rene “Bebet” Mondejar Omandac, and may perpetual light shine upon him.
