Yesterday, the Psychology Department welcomed our freshmen, transferees, and shiftees at the MassComm Theater for PAKIGLAMBIGIT 2026, an orientation designed to help every new Psychology student get acquainted with the department, its people, and the organizations that will be part of their journey.
From understanding student support and guidance services with ๐ ๐. ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ด๐น๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ผ and ๐ฆ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐๐น๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐, to getting introduced to the Psychology Department, prospectus, grading system, and Psychology Faculty through ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฒ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, our students took their first steps toward becoming part of the Psych community.
The session also introduced our student organizationsโ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฃ, represented by ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐น๐น ๐ฆ. ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ฎ๐ป, and ๐ฃ๐๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐, represented by ๐ฉ๐ฃ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ง๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต๐ฎ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ผ๐โgiving our new Psychmates a glimpse of the communities where they can connect, grow, and make their Psychology journey more meaningful.
