• All classes are suspended starting at 12:00 noon today.

• Parents or guardians who will be picking up their children are requested to ensure that they bring face mask for them.

• Students who do not have face mask may obtain one from:
> Basic Education — Through Class Advisers
> College Level & Employees — Through the designated distribution areas

• Classes in the Graduate School, School of Law, ETEEAP, CPA-Review and RITTC will be at the discretion of their respective Deans and Directors.

100% Josenian Structural Designers!

While conducting site visit to our CE OJTs at the Design Works Engineering, it turned out to be a surprising mini-reunion.

The firm's Philippine branch, managed locally by former USJ-R CE faculty member Engr. Noel Guades, boasts an eight-man structural team composed entirely of Josenian Civil Engineers!

The team specializes in the structural design and drafting of complete sets of structural plans, focusing mainly on timber and steel structures. Using Canadian and other international structural codes, they deliver world-class design projects from start to finish. They are also fully immersed in Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows, utilizing industry-standard tools like Autodesk Revit to bring these complex global designs to life.

Our civil engineering graduate Toni Angelo F. Alob is the team leader who guided our squad to victory as the Champion Team in the National Retaining Wall Building Challenge 2025.

Having the gift of gab, he also represented well our school in various interviews and talks in that same national competition of civil engineerings students sponsored by MIDAS, a leading software provider for civil engineers.

Excelling in his subjects, Toni also garnered a Special Academic Award in the Graduating Batch of June 2026 for gaining exceptional academic average grade.

An award well deserved. Congratulations!

OUR REAL-LIFE KARATE KID. 🥋

A huge congratulations to Maria Mae Leonor R. Sacedon, our Karatedo varsity player and Graduating Batch June 2026 Sports Awardee!

Aside from being a skillfull martial artist, she is just as formidable in the engineering field. Also know as Lee, she proudly represented the USJ-R Civil Engineering Department as member of the team that won the championship in the National Retaining Wall Building Challenge as well as representing USJ-R in the national contest for Midas Civil Speed Modelling Bridge Category.

From executing "katas" to winning structural designs, she defines what it means to be a powerhouse student-athlete.

What an amazing combination of strength, discipline, and intellect. Congratulations, Lee!
