Tried to explain what climate change was to a lot of kids this morning! We compared it to having a fever. When your body has a fever you get sick. The earth right now is warmer than it should be and is indeed quite sick! The tiny handprints are their promises to help out and to ask mom and dad how they can do that 💜

Artastic had a full weekend at the Tubo Art Fair! We exhibited our student's work (that almost sold out!!) and hosted a collaborative live art activity where we got strangers to paint with us. So much fun! Looking forward to the next!

Temporary mixed media art for today's activity! We cut giant cardboard fishes and used everything from bottle caps to lego blocks to make our fishes come alive. Wanted the kids to enjoy the process of creating instead of focusing on a finished product. I think they got the point! 😊♥️

Happy with how the mixed media projects came out last weekend! Foam printing, oil pastels, watercolor and collage worked beautifully for our still life subjects that day ❤️
