In his talk, “The Full Stack Life: Balancing Code, Career, and Creativity”, Angelou aims to share how technology, entrepreneurship, and creativity can work together instead of competing with one another. Moreover, you get to learn how real world experiences can spark startup ideas, how creative outlets help prevent burnout, and why your passions outside coding can actually strengthen your career in tech.

Last Saturday, we celebrated a momentous occasion as Fr. Peter Fillo, SVD presided over the Coronation Mass of our newly crowned CISCO President, 𝓐𝓷𝓭𝓻𝓮𝓪 𝓣𝓸 𝓒𝓱𝓲𝓹! 🎉

A heartfelt congratulations to our new leader, may your term be filled with wisdom, courage, and grace.

We also extend our gratitude to the outgoing officers of CISCO ’25–’26, who were honored with Certificates of Appreciation for their dedication and service. To Andrea and the entire CISCO family — wishing you all the very best ahead! We’re rooting for you! 💙✨

After 6 hours of intense battles, clutch combos, and hype moments, our Tekken Tournament (April 25) has crowned its champions — and the arena was ON FIRE. 🔥 🏆

🥈 2nd Place — Igneous
🥉 3rd Place — Yanno

16 players. Double elimination. Zero chill. That's DOUBLE the fighters from last year — and every single match showed up. Live audience going crazy, Warriors Arena casters Jacper Ryan Troyo & Anthony Vaughn bringing the energy. This was the real deal. 💪

⭐️ CISCO’S INCOMING TERM AND PRESIDENT✨

This May 2, 2026, CISCO hosted a Mass led by Father Fillo, SVD to welcome and bless the council for the incoming term. The Executive Committee (including the incoming President, Secretary-General, and VP External) each took an oath to serve the council by the power of God to the best of their abilities.

This was followed by the Presidential Coronation which welcomes Andrea Keisha L. To Chip, formerly IS-1 Ambassador for the council, as the incoming President of CISCO for A.Y. 2026-2027! Her term will be effective in June during the Summer Semester.

As this term comes to an end, may we all cherish all the year has brought us and welcome a new term with new leadership, events and experiences to come!

CISCO is requesting monetary donations to provide critical aid for our fellow DCISM student 𝗔𝘃𝗿𝘆𝗹 𝗕. 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘇. Her mother Paz B. Arranguez recently suffered a brain hemorrhage and is currently hospitalized as a result. To support Avryl's family, we are opening donations via 𝗚𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗧𝘆𝗺𝗲.
