📍 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 & 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗮 — 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Philippines Chapter continues to expand its academic outreach through strategic engagements with higher education institutions in Northern Luzon. A courtesy visit to Isabela State University – Echague Campus (ISU-Echague) on August 26 reinforced this commitment, opening conversations on international certification pathways, leadership development, and globally aligned academic initiatives for business students. 🌏📚
Representing the IMA Philippines Chapter, Gildon Pamittan, Vice Chair of the Student Relations Committee, met with key university leaders to explore collaborative opportunities. 🤝 Engagements with Dr. Prescilla C. Delima, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Joan T. Ruiz, University Director for Public Relations, External Affairs and International Linkages, highlighted ISU’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its international partnerships. 🌐 Support from the University’s leadership was further affirmed through discussions with Dr. Boyet L. Batang, University President, who expressed openness to enhancing professional pathways for management accounting students. 🎓💼
The visit also included a formal meeting with the College of Business, Accountancy and Public Administration (CBAPA) led by Dr. Ma. Rita A. Reario, Dean, together with program chairs, advisers and representatives of the Junior Management Accountants Society (JMAS). Their collective insights underscored ISU-Echague’s strong commitment to student development and readiness for global opportunities. 🌟📈
Complementing the engagement at Echague Campus, a virtual information session with JPIA–Cauayan Campus was conducted on August 29. 💻 The session introduced students to the CMA pathway, global competencies, and the evolving role of management accountants in modern business environments. 🌎📊 The active participation of Cauayan students demonstrated the growing interest in internationally aligned professional development across ISU’s business campuses. 🚀
