Yesterday, CTUβBarili Campus successfully conducted a meaningful World Health Day celebration anchored on the theme βHealthier Today, Stronger Tomorrow.β πβ¨
The activity brought together students in a full day of learning and engagement focused on promoting holistic well-being. During the morning session, participants gained valuable knowledge on maintaining a healthy lifestyle through an insightful lecture by Prof. Mary Grace Flores. This was followed by a First Aid Lecture and Demonstration facilitated by Prof. Cholo Alburo, where students were equipped with practical and life-saving skills essential in real-life situations.
In the afternoon session, the focus shifted to mental health through the discussion βThe Mental Health Toolkit: Mastering Stress, Building Self-Worth, and Decisive Living,β led by Dr. Michelle Anne R. Dagoy and her team. The session provided students with deeper understanding, coping strategies, and awareness on managing stress, building confidence, and making mindful decisions.
More than just a series of lectures, the event became a space for reflection, growth, and empowermentβreminding everyone that taking care of both physical and mental health is vital in becoming stronger, more resilient individuals. π±
