“ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLASS SUSPENSION ⚠️

In view of the possible effects of Bagyong “Basyang”and to give ample time for our students, parents, and school personnel to prepare and ensure their safety, Face-to-face classes of both public and private schools within the Municipality of Badian are hereby SUSPENDED tomorrow and on Friday (Feb. 5-6, 2026).

We advise everyone to stay alert, take necessary precautions, and continue monitoring official advisories from PAGASA and the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

LOOK: Considering the large number of students who participated in the 2026 Sinulog Festival, Gov. Pamela Baricuatro has ordered the suspension of classes tomorrow for all levels in public schools under provincial jurisdiction.

This will allow students time to rest and travel home safely.

Additionally, Capitol employees who are working during the festival this weekend are granted a compensatory day off tomorrow.
